Garnier micellar cleansing water

You have probably all heard of Bioderma. I used to own this and I loved it, however you have to order it online which isn't always convenient. I decided to try the Garnier micellar water to see how it compared, as I have read some great reviews on it!

This works brilliantly for removing face, eye and lip makeup. It does not sting my eyes at all, which some cleansing waters do. I add some of this to cotton pads, hold them over my eyes and then gently sweep away. My eye makeup comes off effortlessly and this leaves no oily residue at all.

I use the Boots baby extra large cotton pads, which you may have seen in my daily essentials post. I soak one or two of these in this water and sweep them over my face to remove my makeup. My skin is left feeling incredibly clean and fresh. I am usually very good and still continue with a proper cleanser, however sometimes I don't as this leaves my skin feeling very cleansed.

I would love to know you favourite micellar cleansers, so please let me know in the comments below!

  1. I have the WORST skincare routine so have been looking at stepping up my game a bit and buying a bottle of micellar water - very tempted by this one now after your review. Thanks!

  2. I love the Loreal micellear water mostly for its scent! If this works the same and has a better top and dispensing bit I may have to try it out

  3. Excited that a micellar water has been launched by a really easy to find brand! Bioderma was in my hands a few times when abroad but like you say it's a pain to get hold of.

  7. I really want to try this one, I'm using the Loreal one and I don't like it that much. But I love the concept :)

  8. I'm guessing this is the same concept as the L'Oreal one? I do like that, I know it's been a hit or miss product with bloggers, but I like it.
I may have to try Garnier's attempt.. :)

  9. I literally just posted my Bioderma review on my blog! I absolutely love it but the only alternative i've tried is the L'oreal one, I've heard brilliant reviews on this one though, need to try it when the Bioderma runs out!x

  10. Have you tried the L'Oreal one? I've been wondering how the Garnier one and L'Oreal one would compare xx

  11. I have read a few good reviews on this product so I must pick it up the next time I head to Boots. I'm currently using the L'Oreal Micellar solutions and I have learned to love them, so convenient and leave my skin so soft and blemish free..bonus.

  12. I have started using the new brand in superdrug called B. they have a micellar cleanser in their new range. So far it's been really good, worth a try, inexpensive aswell.
