Hello! So I don't really post negative reviews on my blog but thought it may be interesting to once in a while! I'm not usually disappointed with any products I buy so these wont be very often!

The product I am reviewing is the Superdrug Dry Shampoo in Chocolate Brownie and I am definitely not saying this is a bad product, it just doesn't work for me. I bought it because I heard good reviews on it but personally I don't like it!
I have used Batiste ever since I started using dry shampoo and I love it! I have the original though which sprays out a grey/white colour so I went into Superdrug to buy the brunette one. When I was there I saw this one and it was a lot cheaper plus I had heard a couple of good reviews on it so I decided to try it!
This just didn't do anything for my hair. It didn't make it look any less greasy and it actually made it feel worse. My hair felt really horrible and almost sticky where I had sprayed this and still looked just as greasy! It didn't give my hair any volume either and I like volume from a dry shampoo.
I did love the fact it was the brunette one as it sprayed out brown which is great as I didn't have to worry about having white roots! I am going to purchase the Batiste brunette one to try now!
I don't know why this didn't work for me but unfortunately it didn't. I will definitely be sticking with Batiste from now on! I'm not at all saying don't buy this, I just thought I would share my opinion and experience!

DeleteI actually really like this. haha. It helps with my greasy-ness and gives volume. But i totally agree with the horrible feeling of it. When i use it i try to avoid touching my hair at all costs :)

DeleteSo happy to see this. I bought it after seeing so many great reviews but just like you, Ive found this makes my hair no less greasy and almost wet in texture. Really not for me.

DeleteI actually like negative reviews, as they can be kind of useful in case I was going to buy that thing, rather than "This is sooo amazing! Buy this £40 lipstick! And this £60 moisturiser!" it's nice to know the bad from the good :-)

DeleteMy boyfriend almost bought me a few of these the other day on offer. Thankgod i text him in time telling him no! This product is awful and has been since it was released. It does nothing for my hair and actually makes it look 10 times worse. It is a shame as superdrug own brand is usually pretty good :-/

I have heard good things about other Superdrug own products so I agree it's a shame! Haha it's good you text him in time! When I bought this it was 3 for 2 but luckily I just bought one in case I didn't like it :) xx
DeleteI found the same with this product :( It made a difference for all of 10 seconds then looked greasy again :(

DeleteI've tried this too and it did nothing apart from make my hair smell horribly sweet :( I did like the fact it had a brown tint to it though! xx

I never used to like them but recently I love them for when my hair is slightly flatter than usual! If you ever do try one, I would recommend Batiste :) Thank you x
DeleteI never really used to like dry shampoos at all as I found they left my hair feeling really weird. Everyone raves about Batiste dry shampoo but I really don't like them, I find they spray far too much and too harshly. My ultimate fave dry shampoo is by Lee Stafford, it's soft & smells delicious!
