Urban Decay Naked 3 palette

I'm sure you have all heard and seen lots of the Naked 3 palette recently. It's the newest Naked palette release by Urban Decay and it's beautiful!

 

I own the first two palettes and wouldn't have thought I'd need a third one, however this one is so pretty! The eye-shadow colours are all pinky tones and the packaging itself is a gorgeous rose gold colour. I much prefer the metal packaging compared to the velvet packaging of the first palette. I love these palettes as they are so clean, simple and the mirror is lovely and big.

 



I love the colours in this palette. I don't wear eye-shadow every day so when I do, I like the colours to be easy to wear and all work well together.

 

The paler colours in this palette, on the left, would be beautiful to use as inner corner and lid colours. The darker colours, on the right, would be lovely in the outer corner and crease. I think I would use the middle colours either for the outer corner if I'm doing a subtle look and don't want to go too dark, or as an all over colour if I want something a little more dramatic!

May Favourites

Hello! I hope you have all had a lovely May! Today's post is going to be my May favourites. I didn't actually write an April favourites because I hadn't tried many new products and there was nothing that I was particularly loving, however there are quite a few products this month!

Starting with skincare, I have been loving my Elemental Herbology Eye Elixir lately! I was on the hunt for a good eye cream for ages. I obviously don't need an anti ageing one so I just wanted a nice hydrating, everyday eye cream and this one is perfect! It's very light and leaves my eyes feeling and looking refreshed and awake.

I bought the Palmers dark chocolate and peppermint lip balm a while ago and I LOVE it! It smells amazing and I just want to eat it! Haha :) It hydrates my lips so well leaving them soft and very glossy.

My hair has been pretty dry recently so I have been looking for some new haircare products to use. I bought the Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment and have been using it every time I wash my hair as a conditioner! My hair is so smooth, soft and manageable since I have been using this. I don't think I have ever had hair this soft from a high street product before which is amazing! I am definitely very tempted to try the shampoo as well so please let me know if you have tried it!

I have rediscovered my YSL Touche Eclat foundation recently and have been loving it! I apply it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush which I think are the perfect pair. I have the shade BR10 which is the perfect shade for me so I love applying it as I don't have to worry as much about blending! This provides my skin with light but buildable coverage and I just love using it.

My last favourite this month is my Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray. I reviewed this a while ago and said I was slightly on the fence. It sets my makeup amazingly well but doesn't control the oil, so I wasn't sure if I would repurchase it! I did though and I have just ordered my third bottle this morning! Without this, my makeup literally just comes off my face throughout the day! I absolutely love this stuff and would highly highly recommend it!
