Hello! I hope you have all had a lovely May! Today's post is going to be my May favourites. I didn't actually write an April favourites because I hadn't tried many new products and there was nothing that I was particularly loving, however there are quite a few products this month!
Starting with skincare, I have been loving my
Elemental Herbology Eye Elixir lately! I was on the hunt for a good eye cream for ages. I obviously don't need an anti ageing one so I just wanted a nice hydrating, everyday eye cream and this one is perfect! It's very light and leaves my eyes feeling and looking refreshed and awake.
I bought the
Palmers dark chocolate and peppermint lip balm a while ago and I LOVE it! It smells amazing and I just want to eat it! Haha :) It hydrates my lips so well leaving them soft and very glossy.
My hair has been pretty dry recently so I have been looking for some new haircare products to use. I bought the
Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment and have been using it every time I wash my hair as a conditioner! My hair is so smooth, soft and manageable since I have been using this. I don't think I have ever had hair this soft from a high street product before which is amazing! I am definitely very tempted to try the shampoo as well so please let me know if you have tried it!
I have rediscovered my
YSL Touche Eclat foundation recently and have been loving it! I apply it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush which I think are the perfect pair. I have the shade BR10 which is the perfect shade for me so I love applying it as I don't have to worry as much about blending! This provides my skin with light but buildable coverage and I just love using it.
My last favourite this month is my
Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray. I reviewed this a while ago and said I was slightly on the fence. It sets my makeup amazingly well but doesn't control the oil, so I wasn't sure if I would repurchase it! I did though and I have just ordered my third bottle this morning! Without this, my makeup literally just comes off my face throughout the day! I absolutely love this stuff and would highly highly recommend it!
