Korres Lip Butter

In my everyday make up routine post I mentioned that I would be posting a review of my Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine.

I can get slightly dry lips at times and the only lip balm I have ever found that works for me is Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Protectant. Now this is fairly pricey at £20 (even though it is amazing) so I am always on the search for a reasonable price lip balm that works. After hearing a couple of great reviews on the Korres Lip Butter I decided to give it a go!

The colour I bought is Jasmine which is a lovely light nude, pink colour. There is a slight scent to this but it truly is very slight - I really have to sniff to smell it!

When I first used this it just melted onto my finger and I was surprised at how soft and buttery this was. Hopefully you can see from the photos how creamy it is! Some lip balms that are in pots I really have to rub at to get any product onto my finger because they aren't very soft and creamy. This lip butter moisturises my lips so well and leaves them smooth, soft and with a lovely hint of colour. This is honestly the best (yes, THE best) tinted lip balm I have ever used!

There are quite a few different colours available as well so hopefully there will be a colour for you!

This is available here for £7!

Have you tried this lip butter? What is your favourite lip balm?

  3. I LOVE the Korres lip butters! I totally know what you mean about the butters just melting on your fingers, some potted things like Carmex are just a bugger to get enough on your finger! Jasmine is such a lovely color, I don't know why I've always overlooked it when shopping!
I have Pomegranate and Plum, a lovely bright pink and well a plummy shade! The only thing that could make these better in my books is if they actually smelled like what they were called ;)
Lovely review Becky, I really enjoyed reading it :)

  7. The lip butter in Quince is one of my favourite products ever! Theyre a very unusual consistencey, like nothing I've used before which I guess is what makes them so good!

  9. These sound interesting! They're pretty pricey though but I guess you have to splurge to get a good lip balm these days. I've just done a review for Clinique's Chubby stick Moisture Balms and i definitely recommend them!

  10. I've had mine for a year, but just started using it and it's AMAZING. I'm not a lip balm person but this converted me! I am kicking myself for ignoring it, lol!
Mine's in Jasmine too. I remember people saying it smelt like candy floss and being disappointed because I could hardly smell it, hahaha. But now a year later - the scent is still the same but stronger?! I don't know how that happened but I'm not complaining!

Loved the post! Love your blog too!
