Caudalie Beauty Elixir

There is so much hype around the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and it was on my wishlist for ages. I don't know why it took me so long to get it but I finally ordered it online and it arrived last week!

The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is a refreshing facial mist that can be applied before moisturiser like a toner and then throughout the day over make up. It contains essential oils that are really beneficial for your skin.

To start with, this smells amazing! I don't know how to describe how incredible I think this smells! It's so refreshing but also relaxing. I would say the scent is fairly strong. I don't find it overpowering but if you don't like scented products then you may not like this.

I like to apply this before my moisturiser by spraying it onto a cotton pad and wiping that over my face. I then spray this over my make up in the mornings and then as and when I feel like it throughout the day.

The mist this sprays out is so fine I can barely feel it when I spray it onto my skin. It's very soothing, calming and refreshing on the skin - I love it!

As for results in my skin, it definitely looks a lot more radiant, glowing and smooth. This spray is also meant to tighten pores which I haven't particularly noticed but it's so perfect and amazing in every other way so that doesn't bother me!

I would highly recommend this spray! There has been a lot of hype around it recently and it deserves it all!

The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is available here for £9.90 for 30ml and £28.80 for 100ml. I have the 30ml bottle but I will definitely be purchasing the 100ml and keeping the 30ml in my handbag!

Have you tried or been tempted by this product? Do you own any facial refreshing sprays?

  2. I've not heard about this before,
It sounds fabulous though, I use simple moisturiser to brighten my skin as that has natural goodies it it but I'll keep my eyes peeled for this :)

  5. What a neat idea!

I'm curious though do you still use makeup primer? Or will this serve as a primer and a makeup setting spray? because if it is it seems like a great 2-in-1 product.

Or do you put primer on then this? I'm a little confused but very intrigued!

P.S found you through the BBU Blog hop and am now following :)

    1. I still use my Laura Mercier foundation primer which I have a review on. I get a slightly oily nose so that's why I need to use another primer so I don't know how well this would work as a primer - its worth a try! This works so well as make up setter - my make up definitely lasts longer with this :) xx

    1. If you do try it then maybe just get the smaller, cheaper one just in case! My skins not very sensitive so I can't really advise you! :)
