Products I tried: March

At the start of March I posted my products I'm trying: March post. Now it's the end of March, so I'm going to let you know what I thought of the products. Let me know which ones you would like individual reviews on! I have already reviewed the Collection lipstick, so won't go into too much detail now.

I have already taken photos and swatches of the Liz Earle signature foundation, ready for a full review! I have really enjoyed using this, as it provides lovely coverage and seems to last well on my skin.

As I said, I have already reviewed the Collection deluxe lipstick, so for swatches and more detail you can read that. The formulation of the lipstick is creamy and soft, which I really like. The colour is not really for me though - it's a bit too bright and pink!

I have been loving the Bakewell Company multi-purpose pocket balm! I have only been using it on my lips and it works so well. The texture is lovely and leaves my lips feeling nourished, hydrated and so soft. It doesn't leave a greasy, horrible layer on my finger afterwards, which can sometimes be annoying with lip balms in pots!

The Percy & Reed dry conditioner is something I need to use a little more. When I have used this, my hair was left feeling a little weird in texture. It seemed to leave it very soft though, so I am going to test this some more and update you with a full review!

I have only used the H'Suan Wen Hua hair treatment a couple of times, so I may do a more in-depth review once I have used it more. It seems really nice though and I love the fact you apply it to dry hair. I like hair treatments that you can pop on before shampooing, as I find them more convenient to use.

Have you tried any new products recently?

Products I'm trying: March

You may have seen at the start of February I wrote a products I'm trying post. I am going to be writing these at the start of every month and then writing a products I tried post at the end. A lot of you seem to enjoy these posts so far which is fab!

Foundations are something I love trying, so I recently bought a new one. I will be trying out the Liz Earle signature foundation this month which I am looking forward to. I have never tried any makeup from Liz Earle before, however I love their skincare so am hoping I love this too!

I read a review recently on the Collection deluxe lipstick, so I decided to buy one for myself. I don't wear lip products that often, so tend to go for high-street rather than high-end! I hope this is nice as I like other Collection products I own.

I recently received the Bakewell Company multi-purpose pocket balm in my Love me beauty box. I am going to be using this on my lips mainly, however I may try it out on my skin and see how it is. It smells amazing so I am loving it so far!

Another product from my beauty box is the Percy & Reed dry conditioner. This is a product I have never heard of before and don't really know what it does, so I am very intrigued!

You may have read my Lush haul recently and my final product to try is the H'Suan Wen Hua hair treatment. I feel a hair treatment is something that can take a bit longer to show results, so hopefully by the end of March I will have seen good results in my hair!

Please let me know if you have tried any of these products!

Products I tried: February

At the start of February, I posted a Products I'm trying: February post. This is a new little series I am starting which a lot of you seem to be excited about! At the beginning of every month, I will let you know some new products I am going to be testing throughout that month and then at the end of the month, do a little round up of how I got on with them all.

I will post individual reviews of any of these products, so let me know which ones you would like.

I have really loved using the Philosophy Purity cleanser. My Liz Earle cleanse and polish has been a favourite of mine for ages now and I do still love that. Sometimes though, it's nice to use a cleanser that's thicker, creamier and leaves my skin feeling very moisturised.

I have been using my Clarins Exfoliator Brightening toner once or twice per week during February. I haven't noticed a big change in my skin, however skin products can take time to show results. I still love using this though because it leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed and even.

My Maybelline Baby Skin primer is probably my new favourite primer! I absolutely love using this and have been using it almost everyday this month. The texture is so silky and smooth, plus it leaves my skin feeling the same way! My makeup lasts longer and applies flawlessly over this primer.

The Soap and Glory Glow All Out highlighter is perfect. It gives my skin a subtle and natural glow, without being glittery or shimmery. I love this product and will definitely be writing a full review with swatches!

I don't wear lip products everyday, so haven't worn my Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Sultry very much. When I have though, it has been lovely. One thing that has really impressed me, is this does not dry my lips out at all! I get very dry lips and even though this is a matte finish, my lips feel moisturised and don't look dry. The colour is gorgeous as well and complements my skin tone nicely.

The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge hasn't had much use from me this month. I tried it a couple of times dry and it was very difficult to blend the foundation in at all. I tried bouncing it and blending it on my skin, however the foundation just wouldn't spread. I have heard it can be better used damp, so I am definitely going to try that and will review it once I have.

The Barry M nail paint in Silvery Lilac is so pretty. The colour of this isn't exactly what I expected. From the bottle, it looks like it would have a bit more green in it, however the green only shows slightly in the light. In the photos above, there is only one coat which is fairly opaque.

I absolutely love the Eyeko Skinny Liner. I am not brilliant at applying liquid eyeliner, however this makes it so easy! The line it gives is so pigmented, precise and smooth, which makes it a pleasure to use. I would highly recommend this product!

What products have you been enjoying using lately?

Products I'm trying: February

I thought I would start a little series where at the start of every month, I show you the products that are new to me and I'm going to be trying out. Then at the end of the month, I can tell you how I got on with them all!

This month I have a range of products that I am going to be trying, so here they are.

Starting with skincare, I recently bought the Philosophy Purity cleanser from a blog sale. This is something I have wanted to try for ages now, so I am very excited to start using this in February.

My only other new skincare item is the Clarins Exfoliator Brightening toner. I have read some great reviews on this and I will let you know what I think once I have been using it a while.

The other day in Boots I bought a couple of makeup items that I haven't tried before. I bought the Maybelline Baby Skin primer, Soap and Glory Glow all Out and Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Sultry, all of which I have read brilliant reviews on.

In Superdrug, I picked up the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge. I have never used a sponge to apply makeup before, so I am looking forward to trying this. I would love to know if you have any tips on using sponges!

My final two products are from blog sales. I bought the Barry M nail paint in Silvery Lilac. This looks gorgeous in the bottle, so I'm hoping it looks just as pretty on my nails! My final purchase is the Eyeko skinny eyeliner. I am starting to wear eyeliner on a daily basis again, so I'm hoping this will be nice and easy to use.

At the end of February, once I have been using these products for a month, I will update you on how I have been getting on with them!

I hope you like the idea of this little series. Please let me know in the comments below!
