Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara Review

I absolutely love trying out mascaras and I picked up a sample of the Diorshow New Look mascara about a month ago, so I was really excited to try it!

This mascara is named a 'multi-dimensional volume and treatment mascara'. It claims to capture and separate each lash with the nano-brush to enhance volume. The serum treatment thickens and lengthens lashes.

I have never tried a Dior mascara before, so I was looking forward to trying this out.

The brush is plastic which I quite like as it separates each lash effectively. It is quite a small brush which is really nice to use as it is great at catching the shorter lashes in the inner corner and coating the bottom lashes.

It achieves amazing length and volume and the colour is the blackest of blacks. It is quickly becoming one of my go to mascaras, which is a big statement considering I own quite a lot!

This mascara is pretty pricey at £23 - the most expensive out of all my mascaras, however I would definitely recommend giving this a look next time you pass a Dior counter and see if you can pick up a tester of it because I absolutely love it. Have you tried this mascara? What do you think?

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick Review

I believe the L'Oreal rouge caresse lipsticks are quite a new release to the UK. I haven't heard much about them, however I spotted them the other day in Boots and was immediately drawn to them! The packaging is really nice and good quality considering the price.

These lipsticks are available in 10 shades, and they are all really lovely. The shade that I bought was Impulsive Fuschia, 202 - a gorgeous, bright fuschia colour which I think will be perfect in the summer.

The colour is definitely buildable which I like. In the day I wear it quite sheer and then build it up to a brighter, more intense colour in the evening.

They feel very glossy and moisturising on the lips and the staying power is actually pretty good. I only need to re-apply this a couple of times in the day to keep the colour bright and glossy.

I am definately going to go back to Boots and buy some more. I absolutely love the one I have and all the other colours were lovely.

They are priced at £7.99 which I think is a really good price. (And currently there is a 3 for 2 offer on in Boots!) I would definately recommend giving these a look when you next pass them.

New Origins Dr. Weil Serum!

I have never owned any Origins products before, however I have heard several amazing things about them so I was eager to try their products. I popped in to my local counter the other week and the Origins lady gave me a sample of their new Dr. Weil mega-brightening skin tone correcting serum. (What a mouthful!) This serum claims to even out your skin tone by helping with discolouration, damage and blemish marks.

I have had this for 4 weeks now and have used it approximately 3 - 4 times per week and the sample is still going strong! I absolutely love it.

I have never had any problems with serious discolouration so I cannot be certain how much this would help, however I do get slight redness on my face and this has definately helped and evened out my skin. I apply this before my foundation in the mornings and it makes my skin look amazing! My skin looks radiant and natural.

This is priced at £46 for 30ml which may seem a lot but my sample is only 5ml and has lasted me a very long time.

Currently if you purchase this from Origins you get a FREE Vitazing 30ml moisturiser and FREE delivery!! How exciting.

Chanel Perfection Lumiere

The long awaited Chanel foundation was released earlier this year - Chanel Perfection Lumiere. They discontinued Pro Lumiere and Matte Lumiere which I was disappointed about, and I know a lot of other people were as well.

This foundation claims to offer a fluid, lightweight coverage, stay put for 15 hours and provide a radiant yet matte finish.

I had a sample of this foundation and I was eager to try it. When I first applied it, the foundation was quite a heavy coverage and it definately looked like I was wearing foundation. I was expecting it to be very natural and provide a 'no makeup' look, but it didn't. The initial finish of this foundation was matte and it seemed to cling slightly to any dry areas on my face. Throughout the day though, the foundation seemed to settle nicely on my face and looked a lot more natural. The finish didn't stay matte for long, as the natural oils of my face came through to provide a radiant and glowing finish. Overall, I did really like the finish of this foundation once it eventually settled into a really nice radiant look.

The colour range is fantastic! This foundation is available in 23 shades.

I cannot honestly say whether this foundation stayed put for 15 hours as I don't think I ever left it on for that long, but it definately stayed looking perfect all day.

This foundation is available for £36 from various department stores.

BareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment.

BareMinerals night treatment is a face powder that you wear to bed and it is proven to improve the look and feel of skin whilst you sleep. I heard about this a while ago but to be quite honest, I was very sceptical about trying it; wearing a foundation-like powder to sleep sounded bizarre!

I popped to a BareMinerals counter the other week and I took the opportunity to ask the makeup artist about the night treatment and have a try of it on my hand. It sounded and looked amazing, so I purchased it. It's available in a variety of 4 shades - clear, light, medium and tan. I got the colour light.

I have had this for about a month now and have used it about 3 - 4 times per week and I must say, I love it! I honestly cannot think of anything bad about this product. It does everything it says on the tin!

The BareMinerals Night Treatment is the only thing I have changed in my skincare routine and my skin has definately improved. All of my blemishes have either disappeared or reduced drastically and my skins overall appearance is very radiant and healthy. My skin tone is more even and any redness I usually have has all reduced, if not gone completely!

This treatment is pretty pricey at £38, but I would definately recommend it.
